Minimizing rolling resistance is the key for Mountain Bike riders. Wider rims enhance tire support, allowing for lower pressure and better handling on rough terrain.
This means the tire's contact patch stays stable, reducing issues like 'tire burping' and improving control.
By running lower pressure, your tire adapts more easily to obstacles, decreasing rolling resistance and rider fatigue.
Lightweight and responsive
A new lightweight and responsive rim, engineered for high performance.
We have increased the inner width from 29mm to 30mm and bearing have been improved to oversized model, enhancing stability and traction for a superior riding experience.
With new updates and a lighter build, we managed to bring the weight of the wheelset down to just 1345 grams.
This careful balance of improved functionality and weight efficiency ensures that riders can enjoy both durability and speed without compromise.
More stiffness and impact resistance
Compared to the K1-EVO, the stiffness of the K1-RD wheels has been enhanced by 20%.
This increased stiffness translates into improved handling and responsiveness, particularly during high-speed cornering and technical trail sections. Additionally, the K1-RD wheels feature a 15% improvement in impact resistance.
This enhancement makes the wheels more durable and better able to withstand harsh terrain and sudden impacts without compromising their structural integrity.
